There has never been anything like it: a bar made from whole nuts instead of just fragments of nuts. A special packaging design just had to be created for such a special product!
Corny, Germany’s most famous muesli bar, has been produced at the Schwartauer company for over 35 years. In 2019, the market leader launched an innovation product: a premium bar with whole nuts joined together with honey or maple syrup. HAJOK was commissioned for the packaging design for this small sensation.
The nut bar appears on-shelf in three variants: pecan & peanut, almond & forest honey and cashew & fleur de sel. Instead of being sold in a typical Corny multipack, it is available as a high quality single bar, setting it apart from the main range. The target group is millennials who prefer on-the-go snacks featuring nutrient-rich ingredients and few additives.
The partially see-through pack ensures a clear view of the content. The packaging design has a very convincing, minimalist style: bold typography colours that also help differentiate the variants, a pure food shot of the respective nut type, plus brand and product name in a copper tone on a black background. The 40-gram bar packed with the genuine power of nuts clearly stands out from the competition on the muesli bar shelf.
