Thanks to the relaunch, Adelholzener's organic spritzers and soft drinks now have a fresh and dynamic packaging design that clearly communicates: we are organic!
The famous Adelholzener mineral water rises from 140-meter-deep springs in the German spar town Bad Adelholzen, at the foot of the Bavarian Alps. Since 2007 the company has also produced spritzers and soft drinks without additives and of the highest organic quality. Adelholzener's green credentials also extend to its sustainable packaging strategy: the returnable PET bottles are refilled up to 15 times before they are recycled into Adelholzener non-returnable PET bottles.
The aim of the relaunch was to give the organic range a contemporary look, clearly differentiate it from the Adelholzener conventional spritzer line-up and succinctly communicate the organic aspect. In addition, the benefits of using refillable PET bottles and the strong ecological balance had to be conveyed.
The right design was found soon after the first presentation. The circular organic visual element is now the main focus point. The natural fruit combined with in-house illustrated leaves and the splash of water dynamically swirl around this key highlight. Our design team developed the copy and graphics of the "Mein Weg - Mehrweg" ("My Way - Reusable") seal which is now applied to most of the Adelholzener PET portfolio. The result is a lively, fresh and, above all, modern packaging design that makes you want to enjoy fruity, refreshing beverages with the best organic quality!

The new packaging design highlights the circular organic element. The fruit, together with the illustrated leaves and the water splash give the variants a fresh dynamic feel.
The returnable bottles are reused a total of 15 times – HAJOK Design created a seal which accentuates this benefit.
