Limited Edition
With the 2026 Special Edition, we are continuing our successful approach of using animals as visual ambassadors to represent specific countries. Our aim was to introduce contemporary elements and connect consumers with the brand through an emotional, trend-driven design that invites them to experience Melitta® coffee in a new way.
The leopard, carefully selected and purposefully chosen, combines timeless elegance with contemporary appeal. A subtle leopard pattern in the background creates a sophisticated 'wow' effect, while the leopard itself appears to walk directly towards the viewer with its intense, almost magical gaze, instantly capturing attention. Metallic jungle leaves add depth and tactile appeal to the design, encouraging consumers to interact with the packaging. The overall look is completed by a warm, modern burgundy tone that enhances the coffee experience emotionally.
Completely relaxed
Nicaragua, the largest country in Central America in terms of area, is known for its particularly fine coffee. The aroma of which is reminiscent of milk chocolate in the recipe of the Selection of the Year 2025 coffee. The packaging design features a bold blue colour in keeping with this aroma. The friendly sloth surrounded by tropical plants invites you to enjoy a well-earned, relaxing coffee break.
Out of Africa
In the 2024 Melitta® BellaCrema Selection of the year the flavor-defining coffee bean from Tanzania with a hint of date is playing the main role. The Tanzanian colobus monkey is typical for the East African country and gives the packaging design its very eye-catching character.
Tour de force
It’s not just the purple and green colour scheme, but above all the lustrous finishing effects that make the design stand out on-shelf. The packaging elegantly shimmers in various shades, literally drawing the viewer into the jungle of Tanzania!
ALEGRÍA DE VIVIR
In 2023, it’s Colombia’s turn to be the inspiration for the special packaging design and to be really different to the standard range. This is the kind of briefing we love! The result: a design that is a firework of colour − full of the joy of life!
STRONG IMPACT
Our design team has combined a warm purple hue, colourful patterns and shimmering effects to create a strong appearance for this year’s BellaCrema Selection. The packaging design reflects the coffee’s high quality and the cheerful Colombian attitude to life.
