If you are short of time and still want to enjoy fresh food, REWE to go has the perfect solution! HAJOK not only developed the packaging design, but also the positioning and brand identity.

Healthy and tasty meals, with as little effort as possible – the own brand “REWE to go” is REWE’s answer to the wishes of the target group to develop dishes, beverages and snacks with no artificial flavours or flavour enhancers. They are either ready-to-eat or can be quickly heated up in the microwave. With their own branded convenience stores, inner-city shops and in-store shops at selected ARAL petrol stations, REWE has the perfect platform to establish its own product world.

Understand

Our team was commissioned with the packaging design for REWE to go. The own brand presents lifestyle products such as bowls of salad, sushi, wraps and smoothies, but also soft drinks and juices that use as few ingredients as possible. The design had to clearly reflect the freshness of the products with an urban, lively twist. Large, on-pack viewing windows help consumers see what’s inside.

Create

The aesthetic presentation of the fresh food is characteristic of the new packaging design. The products are striking with their combination of different illustration styles and the revised logo, which ensures on-shelf recognition with its appearance as a seal. The playful and very approachable yet extremely varied designs transform REWE to go into a lifestyle range that inspires you to discover new culinary delights. The black brand area, with the product name in handwritten typography acts as a graphic visual anchor while reinforcing brand recognition.
