Melitta® Barista Classic is the perfect fit for anyone starting to think more about the right taste and who aspire to making barista-quality coffee. For the relaunch of the three varieties, the intention was to communicate more clearly how the coffee is made while increasing the quality perception of the product and ensuring brand recognition.
The "Classic" name was added to the brand to help distinguish it from the newly launched Melitta® Barista Perfection line-up. We developed the Barista logo for both brands: a contemporary style with a high-contrast, bright chalk look.
Melitta® Barista Classic now presents itself with high-contrast, saturated colours and a new information structure – a striking, premium packaging design with strong shelf-impact. The icons depicting how to make the coffee and the coffee sprig illustration appeal in a charming way to new coffee aficionados. Retaining the chalk look and variant colours, these elements now give the product range a strong visual identity and ensure recognition among Melitta® Barista fans.
