Creamy ice cream enjoyment wakes the travel bug – creative packaging design shows the way for appetite appeal!
Since 1978, Carte D'Or has stood for high-quality ice cream desserts and very special moments of ice cream enjoyment. Two country editions now join the range of 12 varieties. True to the motto "Flavours of the world", the world's most popular desserts have been recreated with ice cream, bringing a holiday feeling to your home.
The brief for the packaging design of the New York Cheesecake and Italian Tiramisu varieties was to visually integrate them into the existing portfolio. At the same time, it was important that the designs sufficiently stand out to show that they are special travel editions. On-pack, the products are to be staged to maximum effect and clearly visualise the sights and key characteristics of the respective country.
The prominent logo, the typical pastel colours and the centre-of-pack ice cream rosette all ensure brand recognition, while the gold details have been given their very own look. In the style of sketchbook scribbles, the designs present the best-known highlights of Italy and New York – inspiring ice-cream lovers to dream of their favourite holiday destinations with each delicious spoonful!
