HAJOK Design is once again delighted to receive an international award. Pentawards, founded in 2007 in Brussels, is the first competition to specialise in award-winning packaging design, making it an industry leader. The design of the three powders - Baobab, Maca and Spirulina - impressed the jury with its artistic watercolour style.
From 2014 to mid-2018, HAJOK Design contributed to PENNY's private label brand Naturgut, creating self-confident, creative and high-quality packaging designs. Naturgut is characterised by a wide-ranging and ever-changing product range. The brand is quick to pick up on relevant food trends such as superfoods, launching them in an organic range. The brief was to present these healthy powders with innovative imagery for real shelf impact. The water-solubility of the finely ground powders served as inspiration for the packaging design. The powder image on each pack was surrounded by a watercolour application depicting the respective fruit, to express the naturalness of the three products. This creative idea gave rise to a unique product presentation.
Since 2007, Pentawards has been honouring outstanding performance in packaging design worldwide with its annual competition. In just 12 years, the competition, which was founded in Belgium, has received more than 16,000 submissions from over 64 countries worldwide. Each year, an international jury of distinguished personalities from the fields of packaging design and marketing decides which designs are universally applicable and should be awarded the international Pentawards.
