Creamy Swedish goodness
The packaging design of the new LÄTTA alternative to conventional whipped and cooking cream converys a sense of Swedish zest for life and really inspires you to get cooking!
Over the last 32 years, LÄTTA has become an indispensable part of breakfasts across Germany and has successfully established itself as a lifestyle product. HAJOK had already been commissioned to design the packaging for LÄTTA Core, LÄTTA Skyr and LÄTTA mit Butter. Now it was time for a completely new product – LÄTTA Whipped and Cooking Creme (LÄTTA Schlag- & Kochcreme) – with the objective of creating the right look while establishing the brand in new categories.
This alternative to conventional cream is suitable for preparing desserts and refining savoury dishes and has a low-fat content. These benefits had to be clearly communicated on-pack. The target group comprises self-confident, dynamic women with a positive attitude towards life who demand a light, balanced diet.
The word LÄTTA literally means "to make things easier" and the packaging design should convey the feeling of being Swedish, low in fat and with a generous portion of zest for life. The colourful, small kitchen icons, illustrating how to use the product together with icons depicting its plant-based goodness, circle around the lightly whipped cream image. These features together with the handwritten typography give the overall design a very natural, cheerful, bright look.
